Customizing your decor by making your own decorative accessories, if you ask me, there's nothing more satisfying!
If you are also a fan of “homemade”; here is a boho-look DIY, 100% customizable, to make for hanging your little ones (a super practical DIY for plant and cat lovers!).
Materials:

– Belts (large size G-XL) or leather scraps
– Scissors
– Hole punch or Crop-A-Dile pliers
– Cotton macrame cord
– Wooden or brass rings
– Brad fasteners or eyelets
– Cachepots
– Your plants
Steps:
Start by choosing your cachepots. For a first try, I would advise you not to take it too big (because of the final weight with the plant inside).
Cut your belt to remove the unnecessary parts for this craft: the buckle and the hole-punched part.

Place the long remaining piece of belt on your cachepot to determine the final length of your 2 leather straps. Cut them to the right length and cut one of the ends into a semicircle using sharp scissors.

Fold your straps in half and trace your arc onto the other end with a pen to ensure symmetry. Cut your shape, making sure to have a nice finish.

Mark the center of each strap, then use your hole punch to pierce them.

Also punch holes in the 4 ends of your straps to insert your macrame cords later.

Form a cross with your 2 straps and insert a brad fastener or an eyelet into the central hole of the 2 overlapping straps. If using brad fasteners, make sure to open the 2 "legs" well to secure them.

Determine the final length of your hangers and cut 2 pieces of macrame cord.

Insert your cords into the holes in the straps provided for this purpose and secure them with a simple knot.

Once all the cords are secured, gather them by folding them in half at the top and pass your ring through.

Choose your plants to place in your cachepots, repot them if necessary.

All that's left to do is to place your pots in the holders and hang your creations, taking into account the needs of your little ones!

Tips and tricks:
– I used XL-sized vegan leather belts to have as much length to use as possible.
– If you place your plants directly in cachepots, make sure to put a layer of clay pebbles at the bottom for good drainage.
– Start making your hanging pots using small, not too heavy pots. You can increase the size of your pots and plants once you have gained a little more experience.
