Description :
The black chokeberry is a native shrub that offers excellent adaptability to various growing conditions. The 'Low Scape Mound' variety is miniature, , very compact. The shrub is covered with white blooms in the spring. Purple fruits turn black when ripe and remain attached to the plant. The deep green leaves turn orange and red in the fall. Appreciated by birds.
