Description :
Impressive perennial , 'Evening Rose' will be the star of the garden starting in August. Its immense pink flowers with very thin petals last only one day , but they continue to bloom for several weeks. One of the last perennials to sprout in spring. It then grows very quickly to form large bushes of purple , almost black foliage. The inner leaves gradually turn green in the shade of the others , which adds a lot of visual interest to the mature plant.
