Very decorative and edible plant. The kale 'Lacinato' has bluish, crinkled, elongated, and arched leaves that emerge from a large central stem. It is known to be the most tender of the kale varieties. Very resistant to heat and cold. Develops its best flavor after a first autumn frost.
