Watering :

Prefer a well-drained, rather dry soil. Monitor watering during the first year after planting.

Maintenance :

Trim the foliage by half after flowering to achieve bushier plants. Fertilize in spring with a granular fertilizer. Place mulch at the base of the plants in autumn to protect them from the cold and encourage snow accumulation. Propagation by stem cuttings.
