Description :
The red elderberry blooms very early in the spring. Burgundy flower buds quickly develop into beautiful conical heads of white flowers. The red fruits appear at the very beginning of summer. It is a native plant commonly found in the Canadian Shield. It is especially when it bears its heavy clusters of bright red fruits that it is finally noticed in its natural wooded and rocky environment. A very decorative shrub to try if you have enough space.
