Description :

Large native shrub with leaves resembling those of the maple. The abundant white flowering in June is quickly followed by generous clusters of bright red, rather transparent fruits. This characteristic allows light to pass through the flesh of the fruits, making them shine. The fruits remain attached to the branches all winter. Native species that attract birds.
