Description :
This alocasia has leaves with a dramatic and surprising appearance. The 'ears' of the leaves are fused together , forming an oval leaf , unlike the usual arrow-shaped form. The leaves first appear copper-green and then become purple-green. The waxy surface seems laminated. The veins are almost black , sunken , giving a wavy appearance to the foliage. Very bright light provides more vivid colors. The underside of the leaf is always a shade of burgundy.
