Watering :

Water thoroughly as soon as the potting soil starts to dry on the surface. Do not leave stagnant water in the cache-pot or saucer to prevent root rot.

Maintenance :

Remove the dried leaves. Prune the flower spike after blooming. Repot in potting soil for indoor plants. Fertilize with an all-purpose fertilizer (20-20-20) or for blooming (22-11-22) during the growth period, from March to October. Propagation by stem cuttings.

Description :

A pretty compact indoor plant with shiny dark green leaves and white striped veins. The decorative yellow spike-like flowering appears in summer and autumn and lasts for several months. To maintain its compact shape, it is possible to prune the plant severely in spring, during repotting.
