Also known as the False Philodendron, the Monstera deliciosa originates from the tropical forests of Central and South America. It is a large-growing plant, with its beautiful, deeply cut, shiny, heart-shaped leaves. It can be grown as a trailing plant or made to climb on a sphagnum moss or bark stake. The Monstera does not like direct sunlight, but good brightness will ensure excellent growth. As it is a plant with irritating sap, keep it out of reach of children and pets.
