Scotts® Grub B Gon® MAX Grub Killer is a granular insecticide used to kill grubs in lawns by disrupting their nervous system, which paralyzes and kills them. The grubs ingest the product, stop feeding, and die, thus preventing damage to the lawn roots.

Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. galleriae strain SDS-502 is a natural active ingredient that specifically targets and kills grubs. It does not harm beneficial insects such as bees and butterflies when used as directed.
